Little Italy in the heart of East Cobb
Finding authentic Italian is not an easy task in East Cobb until you have dined at La Strada on Johnson Ferry Road. There must be a reason you see the same people every time you go there. Family owned, family run, this simple little house provides some of the best dishes you have every eaten. Restaurants come and go in this area, but this one is a real keeper that has satisfied the community and newcomers for many years.

Authentic Italian. Genuine, flavorful and fresh
My parents often chose La Strada as a nicer date spot when I was growing up. Tonight, I went for the first time myself with my wife. It was the best meal I have had in a long time. The food was absolutely outstanding. It felt like everything we had was an authentic Italian family recipe. Everything was so flavorful, genuine and fresh. And their little building has a charm that makes it feel like you’re on vacation. Now I know why my parents went there!

Our family favorite Italian restaurant
Our family favorite Italian restaurant, suitable for friends and family for any occasion. So many reliably wonderful options and innovative specials. If soft shell crabs are available – see the crab flag out front – pull right in and make your order as you won’t be disappointed!

Perfect Italian combination, food and service
When we are in Marietta, GA we always have dinner at La Strada. Friendly personnel and service. Real Italian Menu. The food quality is always top notch. The waitstaff is attentive and well trained. You will get an honest answer when you ask about something new on the menu. Asking for an old standby, you will get it each time. I especially love the Ossa Bucco. Plenty of tender meat and vegetables stewed in a light tomato sauce. Yanni treats you like family and makes you feel welcome.

My family’s favorite for over a generation
This has been my family’s favorite East Cobb restaurant for as long as we knew it was there. I would guess 25 yrs at least. Never had a meal there that was not delicious. It is our answer to New York’s neighborhood Italian restaurant. Usually there are friends also dining. Service is the best. If you happen upon a night with Yanni’ s stuffed ravioli, savor each bite. It is quaint, small, and comfortable, with delicious food.

Impeccable service, excellent food and wine
This is a local favorite and it’s clear that they care about their patrons, offering impeccable service, excellent food and wine with an intimate setting. Everything from the calamari appetizer to the main courses (Manicotti, mussels, veal and chicken Marsala) to the dessert, was perfectly prepared and delivered. Even a random request for fresh Basil was handled with aplomb. Well worth a visit, special occasion or not.
